Ingres II Advanced Performance Course Outline

Duration

3 days

Overview

The focus of this course is on discussions regarding factors that affect performance, as experienced by our consultants in the field. There are formal exercises, but students are encouraged to bring questions, together with their own experiences of performance issues as the emphasis is on sharing ideas and knowledge.

Upon completion of this course the student will be aware of the performance issues associated with Ingres DBMS in the initial stages of the design process. Students will also be better equipped to diagnose performance problems and build more effective database systems.
